✔ TOUR ON SCHEDULE | at 13:00

Report from Eldey: It was very windy day but and only in afternoon we were able to go for a trip. Wind was blowing from South so we took direction to Reykjanes to use shelter from the coast. In the bay we were welcomed by big flocks of birds, mostly northern gannets. For us it´s always a good sign as birds means fish and fish means whales and dolphins. With great moods we started exploring and searching around. We didn´t find anything on the way to Hafnafjordur, neither on the way back. For a moment our hopes risen high when some black shape came by but sadly it was just piece of floating trash. Before we were back in harbour we handled complimentary tickets so our passengers can repeat for free whale watching cruise with us.

- Ewa Malinowska

Birds species seen today include: northern gannet, northern fulmar, cormorant, black guillemot, eider duck, black-legged kittiwake, glaucous gull, black headed gull
