Tour at 9:00

Report from Hafsúlan: We had rougher than predicted sea conditions this morning and a multitude of different weather conditions, including but not limited to hail and rain.  We gained as much shelter as possible from the land to make the tour as comfortable for our passengers as possible and traveled past some interesting areas in search for Faxaflói's cetaceans, unfortunately it was challenging and we had to start heading back with disappointed crew and passengers due to the lack of whales and uncomfortable weather conditions. If only the weather paid attention to the weather forecast. We got a beautiful view of Lundey and the puffins that inhabit it when the sun came out for a moment on our way back to Reykjavík's old harbour. Complimentary tickets were given in the hope for more wildlife and better sea conditions anytime in the next two years.
