Tour at 13.00 Report from Elding. We sailed out of Sandgerði harbour in not very nice weather. It was windy and pouring with rain. However, it wasn´t long before we saw a Humpback Whale in the distance. It was great as it showed his/her tail many times. We watched this humpie for a while until it went for a long drive and we decided to go see if any other cetaceans were around. After about 10-15 minutes a pod of White-beaked Dolphins were spotted, maybe 5-7 individuals and these played under and around the boat. Great Wildlife in not the nicest of weathers, but this is winter in Iceland.

Birds seen on todays tour included; Eider Ducks, Red Breasted Mergansers, Gloucous Gulls, Iceland Gulls, Kittiwakes, Fulmars, Cormorants, Black-backed Gulls and Gannets.
