Tour at 13:00

Again we tried our luck in the windy and not very calm Faxaflói Bay. It was still not very much going on there and we had to search for a long time until we spotted the first group of Harbour Porpoises. As usually they were shy and hard to spot, so we headed on hoping to find a bigger species. And we did find a Minke Whale but this one was again not easy to spot. So we stayed a while with it until we couldn't spot it again after looking for other individuals. Once more a bit difficult tour with one Minke and some Porpoises.

Tour at 9:00

Starting in Reykjavík we had high hopes. But the sea was not that calm than the days before and the Whales weren't that easy to spot. During the hole tour we had two pods of Harbour Porpoises and one Minke Whale. The Minke we found in the end of the tour after a long search in rough sea conditions. At least everyone on board can say he made some experience in the north Atlantic around Iceland. The Minke circled for a while around our boat and it was a really great surprise to stay for a while with this individual after the long search.
