Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey: We were anticipating quite windy conditions in Faxafloi bay today as the forecast was not too optimistic. Much to our surprise the weather stayed calm and sunny throughout the whole our! Sea was mostly calm, only few withe caps in the distance were reminding us about north-east wind blowing today. We had amazing views for mountains around, especially when evening light painted them with pink reflections. Few times when we changed direction in search for cetaceans we were more exposed to the cold wind, but it wasn't really nothing to complain about. And as no-one got sea-sick, everyone enjoyed sailing around the bay. Unfortunately animals didn't show up and so we handed out complimentary tickets for another tour another day.. Better luck next time!

We are sailing out from the Old Harbour in Reykjavik today. It is quite windy today so the sea will be rough today! We do offer seasickness tablets at our ticket office, free of charge. It is also quite cold outside, so don't be shy to make use of our warm overalls on board of the boat.
