Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 13:00 Classic Whale Watching tour. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

Report from Eldey and Hafsúlan: the day was beautifully starting with the sun hitting the mountains around us and we were ready to spot our favorite animals! Off we went, feeling the very cold winds coming from the East. As we travelled, we spotted a blow around Videy island, and another one! Apparently we still had the same 2 humpback whales that we have been seeing on the last couple of days. As we sailed out with two boats, we decided to split and each one got to have different moments with the whales, taking turns. Hafsulan got to see Calamity, the whale, breaching in front of them, while Eldey saw it the big splash from a distance. While we were with Ekki, the second whale, and this one really put on a show for us popping up so close to us while lunge feeding! Very good incredible sightings for each boat. Watching Ekki's mouth closing on the surface full of water and food, while it's belly expanded. After these amazing sightings, we sailed back to the harbour enjoying nice music and excited about the pictures we took this afternoon.
