Tour at 13:00 Report from Hafsulan: The wind was strong today, but only coming from the west like a blow from Greenland. It doesn't´t tear us apart because we sailed bravely the waters of Faxafloi. After a while of search, a humpback whale appeared and not long time later four white-beaked dolphins were crossing by extremely fast like leaving the crime scene. When we were in the middle of this craziness, a single minke whale popped-up from nowhere, rounding a perfect afternoon for whale-watching.

Tour at 9:00

Report from Hafsulan: Even if the day was sunny on the sea we were struggling with cold wind and swell. First half of the tour we were mostly jumping on the waves what for some where fun but some people felt sick. Not everyone can appreciate Icelandic roller-caster. But weather was still nice and sighting conditions were good. It take us around one hour to find minke whale which surface few times close to our boat. Unfortunately after a while animal disappeared and we could relocated it again. Then in the distance we saw many splashes. It was looking like jumping dolphins but when we reached area it was empty. Luckily this time we didn´t need to wait long till we got a call about humpback whale on our way back. It wasn´t easy to find it, but when we did, we weren't sure if we are watching one individual or two. Unfortunately whale or whales didn´t raised tail so identification is difficult. Way back to harbour was much nicer, we didn´t feel wind or strong movements anymore so it was pleasurable be outside and enjoy views!
