Tour at 13:00

The wind picked up a bit but still the whale watching conditions were rather good. Our sightings for this tour were again two different family groups of white-beaked dolphins. Both groups were really active and nice to watch. They showed a lot of interest in the boat and approached the boat a lot. In between we had many of the shy harbour propoises around us. Some of them were a bit easier to spot than the others, but overall we had to concentrate a lot to be able to spot them.

Tour at 9:00

The weather was wonderful this morning: calm and sunny. We spotted two groups of white-beaked dolphins. Like the last days it was a lot of fun to watch them. They are so playful these days and make it rather easy for us to watch them. While we stopped to look for harbour porpoises we suddenly spotted a small blow. We almost couldn't believe it but it was a minke whale!!! It wasn't in a good "whale watching mood" and left us as soon as it could. But nice to know that there are a few minke whales in the bay so early in the season.
