Report from Hafsúlan: The bay was still swirming with life on our second tour. The large pod of dolphins had shifted but we still saw two smaller pods of White Beaked Dolphins not far from Reykjavík. We also saw at least three different Minke whales. On our way back to the harbour we came accross a pod of Harbour porpoises and yet another minke whale. The last minke whale surfaced right in front of the boat which was a good end to a lovely day.

Report from Hafsúlan and Elding: The weather over the last few days has been brilliant and today it was no different, stunning weather today! And it was a four species day too! Sailing from Reykjavík it we almost immediately saw our first species, after just 20 minutes we found White-Beaked Dolphins. Recently there has been a very large pod that we seemed to keep finding and once again it showed itself, in every direction as far as the eye could see there were dolphins and there were jumping too. It was a fantastic start to the tour but we sailed in search of something larger. And that risk paid off as we found both Minke Whales and a Humpback Whale, we got some very good looks at both species with the humpback raising its fluke into the air several times. And the last species was the Harbour Porpoises, we saw them on numerous occasions with some even jumping out of the water. It was a beautiful and extremely successful day!
