✔ TOUR ON SCHEDULE | 13:00

Report from Eldey: The day continued to be a good one sea state wise and we were also lucky to not have any rain and even see the sun rays through the clouds. We saw a whole field full of harbour porpoises everywhere around us in all directions after some 40 minutes from the harbour. It is a sight that is unusual and quite welcome. The number of them being between 30-40 roughly. We also saw about 10 minke whales on this tour, with even 3 of them surfacing at the same time! As a cherry on top we saw a lone humpback whale that honored us by showing it's fluke upon diving down. Magnificent.

 TOUR ON SCHEDULE | 09:00

Report from Eldey:  There is not much needed to say about this tour, except that we were surrounded by minke whales, white-beaked dolphins and harbour porpoises for nearly the entire 3 hours! The sea was so flat that we could see the dark dorsal fins popping up everywhere, adding up to around 20 minke whales, 4 pods of white-beaked dolphins and countless porpoises that even jumped around our bow. Everything was feeding and chasing fish but also taking moments inbetween to interact with our boat. For certain after this trip all our passengers are also well trained in spotting for cetaceans and were definitely spoiled by Faxabay's nature today.

Birds seen today: great cormorant, northern gannet, kittiwake, common gull.
