The weather was quite rough today when we headed out to Faxaflói bay. After sailing for some time we found a good area with lots of feeding birds. Gannets, Fulmars, Kittiwakes and Manx shearwaters. In the same area we spotted many feeding Minke whales. They surfaced all around us, some came very close, just 10 meters away from our boat. We were quite lucky to find this area because the weather was getting worse the whole trip, and by the time we turned back the wind was very strong.
