Tour at 13:00 Report from Hafsúlan: We sailed out from Reykjavik harbour in beautiful weather. Still a cold North Easterly wind which keeps the air nice and fresh. We went to the same area as the morning tour and once again it was successful with Minke Whales, Harbour Porpoises and Seabirds. Throughout the tour we must have seen at least 4 different Minke Whales and 30+ Harbour Porpoises. We think we recognised one of the Minkes by the notch taken out of the back of the dorsal fin, We think it was a Minke Called ´Like Smile´ which we have seen in 2011 and 2012 but in June before so its nice to see the Minke in April.

Tour at 09:00 Report from Hafsúlan: We sailed out from Reykjavik Harbour in calm sea conditions, after the last couple of rough days it was nice to see the sea calm again. We sailed quite far out offshore and our lovely Captain Nonny got to see a Minke Whale in the distance. We were able to see it for two more surfacing sequences (8 more times) before it went for a deep dive and vanished. We saw many Harbour Porpoises on the way out and back maybe 30+ both near and far in all. We even got to see three puffins on this morning tour which was great.

Seabirds seen on today´s tour includes; Puffins, Gannets, Common Guillemots, Razorbills, Fulmars, Kittiwakes, Glaucous Gulls and Black-backed Gulls.
