Report from Eldey: The weather conditions didn't improve much during our afternoon tour. It was still raining most of the time and the strong winds were blowing in our faces. We had to search for a rather long time in these unfavourable conditions, but finally spotted a pod of 3-4 white-beaked dolphins. However, we only saw them surfacing a couple of times, before they vanished again. This short encounter should be the only one during this tour, therefore we handed out complimentary tickets, so our passengers can get lucky on another whale watching trip with us.

Report from Hafsulan: Weather on Iceland is famous because of changing every 5 minutes but it was not a case today. We start morning under the rain and we came back soaking. It was also bit cold but luckily for our guests we have plenty space indoor and a hot chocolate to warm up. I was the only one on the watch outside and despite not the best conditions I found 2 minke whales. First one was difficult, swimming fast and constantly changing direction. Second was behaving much better as it made slow circle around our boat and later on from the distance still was easy to follow. We came back wet but satisfied.
