Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 13:00 Classic Whale Watching tours. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00

Report from Eldey: We left the harbor with cold temperatures and slightly iced surface water layers. The sun was up again and the wind was blowing for north east, very similar as yesterday. We headed towards the whale fjord at first, snowy mountains on the right side gave us a wonderful scenery to get some beautiful pictures. We moved afterwards towards Lundey island and where other boats spotted a humpback whale. When we got closer we could see that the humpback was Flak, the animal that has been around the area for few weeks. As usual, he was busy feeding and we could have some great sight of him while at the surface. In a couple of occasions the humpback whale came very close to the boat about 5 to 10 meters and swam along the port side of the vessel so everyone could take a close great picture of him. We left after about 30 minutes and headed back to the harbor.
