Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey: Like the previous days we decided to go from Grindavík today. We sailed out into a chill northwestern wind. The complimentary overalls that we offer all passengers came to good use and kept us warm. The sailing continued towards the west so we had the wind in our back. The landscape was beautiful with snow covered mountains and high cliffs close to shore. We searched long and well without seeing any cetaceans (whales, dolphins or porpoises). We decided to end the tour in Sandgerði so we continued up along the coast. But this area also proved empty of cetaceans. Some seabirds flew by and kept us company, though. No sightings on this tour when we entered the harbour in Sandgerði, we of course offered all passengers a complimentary ticket valid for another whale watching tour with us. We hope for better luck tomorrow.
