Report from Elding: In the morning, the wind was very strong so we decided to start our tour from the harbour in Grindavik. The sky was almost perfectly blue and besides the very strong winds it was quite a nice day with some Northern Gannets and Fulmars escorting us on our way out. After about an hour of sailing we still had not seen anything and even though still optimistic, since some gannets were feeding ahead of us, the wind turned out to get stronger, much worse than we had expected. It took water from the sea across our boat over and over again and cold showers on the outside decks were definately included on this adventurous trip. In the end, we did not manage to find anything in the rough sea, which was disappointing for both crew and passengers. We hope that everyone liked our solution of giving out complementary tickets, which are good to come back on another tour with us within two years - Hope to see you guys again soon!
