Report from Elding: Days at sea have just been phenomenal. Perfect weather and awesome encounters with numerous whales. Only half an hour out of the harbour we spotted a pod of 4 white-beaked dolphins which, as we got closer, immediately approached us and gave us some very fun moments with them before we left them for whales we had been seeing in the distance. When we arrived in the area we lost track of the total count. So many whales! We saw 5 different humpback whales, at least 20 minke whales and a pod of 3 harbour porpoises. And one humpback saved the best for last, when it began to lunge feed next to our boat, so close we could look into it's mouth!

Report from Elding: Second day with beautiful calm weather. Visibility was perfect thus quite fast we found potentially good area with many sea birds around. After waiting patiently for some time we found a humpback whale and a minke whale. As we were trying to approach a humpback whale, animal went for a very long dive but for our surprise minke started to feed by our boat. Unlike many minke whales, this individual was not shy at all and was swimming very close to us. It was great. In distance we saw humpback coming up and we decided to try again. First whale was going for long dives but what happened next was crazy: suddenly two humpbacks and 4 minke whales were feeding on the spot. One of humpbacks was coming up belly up while other was showing it's tail up. Minkes were all around and when it was time to go, in distance we noticed dolphins swimming towards this feeding zone. Exciting morning!
