Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey: We were sailing out today under a clouded and sometimes rainy sky and there was some movement on the boat, but our passengers were brave sailors and battled the elements. At the beginning we were fortunate enough to get a bit of sunshine which resulted in two pretty rainbows for the first quarter an hour of the tour. Then the clouds took over, but it was still fun to observe especially the northern fulmars gliding artistically just above the water surface. After about two hours we were surprised by a small pod of 3-4 white-beaked dolphins. They just popped up all of a sudden in front of the boat and made us smile. It was great to see their colorations and to spend some time with them. We really enjoyed seeing especially their white beaks. A great reward for searching in the rain. Then it was time for us to head back to Reykjavik. A lovely afternoon out at sea.
