Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 13:00 Classic Whale Watching tours. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

Report from Eldey: We had another day of great conditions in the bay waiting for us. The sea on the whole was very calm with the occasional large swell and not too much wind. As we sailed out we got to see many eider ducks around the harbour and just outside it. We also had a fantastic view of the snowy mountains with the clouds just covering the top. They looked beautiful. As we continued our tour waiting for a sign a life we spotted a blow in the distance close to land once again! The same humpback whale that we have seen near to Reykjavik for almost a month now was back for another day. Long may this continue! We got to see many surfaces from this individual again over a long period. Getting to see the fluke is always a very special thing and this happen many times too! It was a fantastic tour and a grey seal even popped up for a sighting as we saw our humpback whale.
