Tour at 13:00
The weather was very nice, calm sea and the sun was shining. The puffins were still on the island and around it. But the whales were not around this afternoon. We spotted two minke whales but they only surfaced one time and we could not find them again and none of our passengers were able to see them. The sailing was very nice and we saw some diving gannets and lots of puffins. So, a beautiful tour but without the whales .

It was like a black cloud hanging over the island Akurey when we came out this morning. It was all puffins, many thousands of them. But the whales were quite difficult to find. After searching for a long time we spotted some shy harbour porpoises which disappeared soon and later two minke whales. They were not in a good mood so it was very difficult to approach them. But the weather was very nice and we spotted some diving gannets and lots of puffins out in the bay.
Birds seen on the tour: Fulmars, kittiwakes, arctic skua, puffins, shag and guillemots.
