Status: RUNNING

We are sailing out from the Old Harbour in Reykjavik today. We predict a mild wind from the east and some swell.

Sightings: The conditions for whale watching were almost perfect today with very little swell and the view over Faxaflói was just beautiful. We were hopeful in the beginning with the winds coming from the east so we didn't feel a thing on the way out but still didn't manage to see any cetaceans. When we turned the boat around we kept our search ongoing but unfortunately no whales or dolphins in sight. The scenery was absolutely stunning with the white covered mountains and the beautiful Snæfellsnes in front of us. We gave everyone on board a complimentary ticket which is valid for two years so the passengers can try again hopefully with better luck.
