Tour at 13:00
Report from Hafsúlan: today we went out from Hafnarfjörður and decided to head towards Reykjavik. It was a bit windy at first but not all that bad and indeed the swell was often mostly fun. What was less fun was the poor visibility. Usually it only lasts for short intervals as it sweeps past but unfortunately it lasted for the majority of the tour. The sea also had few white tops and as we got closer to Reykjavik, we felt how the southeastern storm was on the increase earlier than expected. All we saw on this tour was a single harbour porpoise, which vanished as soon as it appeared, and quite a large flock of various seabirds, however they did not seem to be feeding. As a result of all this, our passengers were provided with a complimentary return tickets so that they can come back with us for another whale-watching tour free ofcharge within the next two years.
