CLASSIC WHALE TOUR ON SCHEDULE |  09:00

Report from Elding : We started this morning tour under a cloudy sky and finished it under in the sun. The sea was choppy with wind coming from the south picking up a bit during the tour. We sailed for 30 minutes before we had our first sight. A minke whale that surface a few times around the boat. This individual was very hard to follow so we continued our tour further. We spotted a second minke whale that we could see from closer, we even saw its blow which is not often with those type of whales. We finished the tour with 6 white-beaked dolphins playful and curious coming under the boat. It was so nice to be with then in the sun, seeing some of them jumping and bow riding.

✔ CLASSIC WHALE TOUR ON SCHEDULE | 13:00

Report from Elding : The sun turned into clouds once we where outside of the harbour and the wind from the south was stronger this afternoon. It was not easy to spot something between the waves and the swell, with many white caps. After a long search, we manage to find one minke whale. Unfortunately only a few persons could spot it, mainly members of the crew. We offered to our passengers complimentary tickets, that allow them to come back for free in the next two years on a new whale watching tour in Reykjavik, or in Akureyri.
