Tour at 13:00

Another wonderful tour! Actually a bit similar to the one in the morning. We started in Hafnarfjörður harbour and like in the morning we soon spotted jumping dolphins in the distance. There was a lot of herring in the area, which was the reason for all the playful and feeding dolphins. They were as active as in the morning: jumping all the time, showing interest in the boat, bowriding and lots of other interesting behaviour. Later we sailed further out but couldn't find any other whales. We ended the tour by passing the big big dolphin group we watched in the beginning.

Tour at 9:00

We started the tour from Reykjavik harbour. All the whales we spotted in the past time were somewhere around Hafnarfjörður harbour. So we decided to sail there to try our luck. And we were lucky, indeed. First we spotted some jumping dolphins at a distance. Once we were close to them we saw dolphins everywhere, jumping, swimming around the boat and approaching the boat. It was really fun to watch them. Later we went on to look for other whales and found another group of dolphins, not as active but still worth staying with for a short while. We ended the tour in Hafnarfjörður harbour and our passengers got a lift back to town.
