Report from Eldey: Another glorious day in Faxafloi. Perfect sea conditions, great visibililty and shoals of fish everywhere, it was just a matter of time we were going to be able to find some cetaceans but we weren't ready for what happened. A total of 4 humpback whales crossed our path, but one of them got all the attention as it was feeding, surfacing very close to our boat, showing us its tail, rolling over itself several times and we could see its flippers out of the water in an attempt that seemed to be a "hello there" gesture. It was such a fantastic tour that the smiles in our faces are going to last for a while.

Report from Eldey: What a morning! It took only 20 min to find a whale. First we saw big blow in distance and as we were approaching a minke whale came up in front of us and swim slowly to our left side. It was a really nice and big minke and even it was short encounter most of our guests saw it. We did not follow that one as in front of us there was a humpback whale. It was individual seen yesterday with a bump on his side. Whale was swimming slowly close to the surface, super easy to watch and to photography. Our next stop was a second minke whale feeding around flocks of birds. On the way back we saw again humpback from the morning but also another individual! Two humpbacks and two minkes in one trip + plenty of harbour porpoises what gives us three species of cetaceans.
