Tour at 17:00

Report from Eldey: It was one of the most beautiful sunsets recently. All sky and landscape was covered in warm pinkish light. Even if we start the tour not so successfully we ended it with happy faces. Wind was still blowing but not so strong as at previous tours and sea was also much calmer. With this much better conditions we were able to encounter pod of 3 white-beaked dolphins. It wasn't easy to find them, neither to follow them. They give us only few short looks before they vanish in the water. Still with big hopes we searched great area of the bay but without seeing more animals. To recompense lack of good sightings we offered to our passengers complimentary tickets.

Report from Eldey: The day kept being a wonderful one, with sunny skies and no rough waves to sail, but unfortunately the wind was picking up quite a bit and there were quite a few whitecaps decreasing the quality of the spotting conditions. After 1 hour of sailing we encounter a minke whale right in front of us! The animal surfaced just some 20 m away, and then immediately went for a dive. Although we tracked the animal for a few surfacings it was quite a difficult task and we had to gave up around 40 minutes after. Then we unfortunately only saw a few pods of 4-5  harbour porpoises, which is the reason why we hand out complimentary tickets to our passengers. We hope the wildlife won't be so challenging to spot the next time!

Report from Eldey: We have beautiful day in Faxa bay today! Sun is shining with only few clouds hanging in the blue sky. It was a little bit windy when we went further out but it wasn't very annoying. In first hour from far we saw flock of birds, when we get closer we realized that it were northern gannets feeding, making a lot of splashes around. Suddenly, between this splashes we saw a blow! Small minke whale was also catching some fish in this place. Whale was elusive and hard to follow but animal was feeding so this behaviour was untestable. Some more lucky passenger were able to seen even a belly of this whale while it was coming to the surface with mouthful of food.  We were so focused at looking for this whale that we didn't realized when dolphins joined us! Pod of 8-10 white beaked dolphins came from nowhere and start playing around boats. It was looking like they really wanted to give us a show as they were all the time chasing the boat, bow ridings, jumping, diving under our boat and generally looking like having fun. When other whale watching boats leave to look for something else, we stayed longer remembered than whale was in the same area. Unlucky, this couldn't find this animal but instead dolphins were all the time with us, swimming next to us, still jumping and coming very close to take a look at us. In total dolphins were with us more then one hour till we rushed back home. It was amazing morning!
