Report from Eldey: Our afternoon tour was the perfect trip for any whale watcher. We encountered at least 10 humpback whales, all of them actively feeding very close to the surface so we witnessed some incredible lunge-feeding behaviour. Plus we had flat silky-like seas and no wind at all. It was an incredible tour and we had fun as well with the little puffins hanging around our boat. We couldn't ask for anything else.

Report from Eldey: What a morning we had. Our first whale encounter took less than an hour. After spotting one humpback whale at first and seeing it feeding on the surfaced, it quickly was joined by a pod of white-beaked dolphins. that pod, counting around 10 to 15 individuals, kept surrounding us and the humpback. After about 15 minutes watching this unique encounter the animals moved on, and so did we. And it didn´t take long to find the next humpback. This time it was a smaller individual, which didn't male it any less active. It showed us lots of flukes, which allowed us ti identify it as an individual spotted in the bay the previous week already. Btu that was not the end of the tour. We had two more larger humpbacks surfacing and feeding around us as well as at least two more blows seen in the distance. And to top it all, two minke whales joined the humpbacks, with one being spotted on the way back into the harbour. With three species of cetaceans and even more birds all around us, this was a spectacular tour.
