Report from Eldey: More sunshine to load up your vitamin D levels during today's tour! It was a beautiful day to be outside, whether on land or on the water. The weather was calm and only little whitecaps were rippling the waters of Faxabay. As during our previous days, birdlife was active all around with various species to be seen. After just over an hour, we followed some very fast splashes that we were sure belonged to two different species. We saw a pod of around 5 harbour porpoises creating some of them and we watched them for some minutes, but were sure the other splashes belonged to dolphins. Unfortunately despite much looking with best efforts of both crew and passengers, we did not find them. This is of course something we are as disappointed about as all our passengers and we definitely do not want anyone to leave our boat disappointed. So, we gave a complimentary ticket to everyone and encouraged them to join us once again in our search of whales and dolphins.
