Tour ar 13:00 Report from Elding. Today we headed out from Sandgerði, where we had some wet snow and the clouds covered the skies. Just outside the harbour and  not even 10 minutes into the trip we spotted our first Humpback Whale. Once we knew where it was, we started to head near to the whale. He/she was amazing, we told our passenger to visualize the tail of the whale coming up and after a few tries we finally saw the tail coming out from the water. Not long after, we spotted another Humpback Whale which we chose to get near to and give some space to our first humpback whale. He/she also gave us a great sight, showing us the tail and it´s white flippers. It came very close to the boat so we can see it just below the surface. Both humpback whales were in the area and  sometimes came up at the same time, passenger had to picked which whale to watch for. Suddenly we spotted a small group of White Beaked Dolphins between 3 to 4 individuals. This area had definately a lot of food, more specifically herring. There were so many species in the area, two humpback whales, a pod of dolphins and a lot of birds. It was indeed a wonderfull tour full of wildlife. Our passengers and crew seem to be very please with the show.

Bird seen on today´s tour include: Kittiwakes, Razorbills, Gannets, Fulmars, Gloucus Gull, Cormorants and Eider Ducks.
