Report from Eldey: What else can we say - just another amazing day out on the sea! Weather is stunning, cold air is preventing snow from melting even when sun is shining. But it's Iceland so it was ice cold! We started our search by the coast, checking all possible corners where whale might hide. We spent there almost half of our time when we decided to head out. It was a good guess as soon we saw a blow and we found a humpback whale. I never seen before humpback swimming so fast, moving back towards coast, taking 4 minutes dives and surfacing again. We also found a reason for that rush as by island Lundey sea birds were having a feast. Whale also was looking for food and feeding begun. It was going for a short dives, every time showing his tail and re-surfacing almost in the same spot. It was a great experience to join this whale for a moment in his wild life, specially that when it get used to the boat it surfaced very close to us giving us super close look at his massive body.
