Tour at 13:00

Report from Hafsúlan and Elding: because of high number of passengers we went out on two boats today and because of rough sea conditions we decided to sail out from Hafnafjörður and come on land back in Reykjavík. When we sailed out the weather was nice, it started to rain later on the tour first just lightly but when we got closer to Reykjavík it got windier. Hafsúlan spotted 4 harbour porpoises, a small and very cute species of cetaceans after only 20 minutes sailing. The passengers on hafsúlan were able to watch them while they surfaced few times around the boat. it is often difficult to follow the harbour porpoises for some time because they are often elusive. Unfortunately that was our only sightings of cetaceans today so all of our passengers were offered complimentary tickets that they can use to go on another tour with us sometime within the next two years.
