Report from Hafsulan: The conditions were very challenging this morning as strong winds caused the sea to be quite choppy. A small layer of snow fell overnight and the cold remained which made the temperature feel close to freezing with the wind chill. We sailed out almost hugging the coastline, as this stretch of water was much calmer than the rest of the bay, with the mountains providing some protection from the wind. We slowly sailed through the area and one harbour porpoise surfaced quickly and disappeared back into the chop with only one other passenger sighting its small fin. The sea seemed to worsen as time progressed which made for a bumpy ride back to the harbour as we battled through the waves. Unfortunately no wildlife was on view today and complimentary ticket were issued.
