Tour at 13:00
Report from Hafsúlan: we sailed out relatively close to land and stayed that way for a while as we had to drive the ship in accordance to what would be most comfortable in light of the strong eastern wind. Sadly the visibility was very bad today, foggy and rainy, hence impacting our enjoyment from watching the landscape, always a major element when you go watching wildlife. We searched for three hours but while the sea was not quite as bad as we would have thought it would be, there were still some white tops and considerable swell which prevented us from spotting properly what wildlife might have been around in the water. At one point we spotted 1-2 harbour porpoises but that was it on this tour unfortunately. Therefore we gave a complimentary ticket to every passenger in the hope that they will come with us again on another tour within the next two years and then hopefully get to see what we would have liked to show them on this tour.
