We are sailing from the Old Harbour in Reykjavik today. There could be some movement on the boat out on Faxabay due to swells but there is little to no wind today. Hope you are able to join us on the Whale Watching tour in search of these magnificent animals in their natural environment.

Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey: We sailed from the harbour in pretty good weather, it was a bit cold and misty but hardly any wind so the overalls on board came in good use. When we got out of the harbour we saw that the ocean was very still and the surface was so smooth it was like glass. Therefore we were optimistic because if anything surfaced we should be able to see it. Our luck didn't seem to agree though because we sailed for a while without seeing any signs of cetaceans and the birds were few and far between. We hadn't given up though when it was time to head back to the harbour and soon our high hopes proved right because we heard about a pod of dolphins close to the harbour. When we got there it turned out to be six white-beaked dolphins and there was even a calf among the pod. They even came really close to check us out so we were able to get a good look at them. A fun ending to a very nice tour.
