Preview textToday brought encounters with at least five humpback whales, including breaching, fluke dives, and curious approaches near the islands. Several pods of white-beaked dolphins and harbour porpoises added variety, while calm seas and sunshine made for ideal conditions. Puffins were also plentiful, adding charm to this fantastic day at sea!

Preview textThroughout the day we had 5 encounters with humpback whales, including one breaching, one lunge-feeding, and another resting calmly near Reykjavík. Several pods of up to 14 white-beaked dolphins and around 6-8 harbour porpoises added to the excitement, alongside rare minke whale sightings, including a spy-hopping individual! What a wonderful day!

Preview textThis morning we saw a playful humpback whale, a spy-hopping minke whale and even a few shy harbour porpoises. The afternoon brought sunny views and a calm humpback whale with close surfaces and beautiful white pectoral fins. In the evening, another humpback whale and a pod of white-beaked dolphins capped off a long but rewarding trip!

Preview textThis morning we found a sleepy humpback whale that surfaced close to the boat, before waking up again as we headed back home. The afternoon featured two playful pods of white-beaked dolphins and a brief minke whale sighting. In the evening, two lively humpback whales (including mr. Bubbles) and a pod of dolphins made for a spectacular end to the day!

Preview textThis morning brought no less than four humpback whales, with both breaching and pec slaps! The afternoon tour featured a very social humpback whale showing off with tail and pec slaps before breaching three times. The evening ended with 2 humpback whales, including one curious close approach and surprise tail slaps! What a fantastic day on the water!

Preview textThis morning began with fresh air as we saw all four summer species - harbour porpoises, minke whales, playful dolphins and a chill humpback whale! In the afternoon we were treated to surfacing minke whales and fluking humpback whale. The evening brought even more minke whales and a fluking humpback whale under calm seas and puffin filled skies.

Preview textThis morning we met a calm humpback whale and saw its glowing pectoral fins in crystal-clear seas. In the afternoon, a lone male orca stole the show, close to Reykjavík's Old Harbour, before we later encountered two relaxed minke whales. The evening brought three playful humpback whales, also close to the city, ending with a dramatic peduncle throw!

Preview textThis morning we saw many flocks of birds, and amongst them were 2 minke whales. Then, we found a pod of 6 white-beaked dolphins, a logging humpback whale and an additional 2 minke whales on our way home. In the afternoon we had brisk winds but were rewarded with a feeding humpback whale. The evening tour was sadly cancelled due to weather.

Preview textA chilly but sunny morning brought 2 very relaxed humpback whales (one was sleeping). In the afternoon, a feeding humpback whale showed off its glowing pectoral fins under the surface. The evening ended with a humpback whale showing us multiple fluke dives, as well as a pod of leaping white-beaked dolphins and lots of seabirds flying under blue skies.

Preview textA calm morning brought pods of playful 8-10 white-beaked dolphins and up to 6 minke whales, one surfacing very close! The afternoon saw a couple of minke whales and 6 leaping white-beaked dolphins under sunny skies. In the evening, a friendly humpback whales fluked and swam close, joined by white-beaked dolphins and feeding minke whales.

Preview textThis morning was sunny but we had a strong northern wind. We sailed far into the bay and were rewarded with a humpback whale! In the afternoon we saw a lot of different species of seabirds and finally found a minke whale that was a bit tricky to follow. In the evening we eventually found one humpback whale (perhaps two) and even saw a peduncle throw!

Preview textThe morning tour was unfortunately cancelled due to weather, but the afternoon brought playful pod of white-beaked dolphins with a cute calf and a beautiful blow of a humpback whale against the beautiful snowy mountains! The evening tour was quite breezy and it took a while until we found a calm humpback whale, just in time before we had to return to port.

Preview textWe experienced mixed weather today, from drizzle and chilly winds to moments of sunshine. In the morning we spent time with a calm humpback whale that came very close to the boat and fluked before diving. The afternoon tour brought playful humpback activity with breaches and flipper slaps, however the rest of the day was cancelled due to weather.

In the morning we spotted 4 white-beaked dolphins and a relaxed humpback whale that stayed with us for the rest of the tour. The afternoon brought another humpback whale that fluked multiple times and surfaced right in front of the boat! A spectacular day in the bay!

Preview textThis morning we enjoyed calm seas and spent time with two humpback whales, including one curious individual that fluke-slapped and surfaced close enough for us to smell its breath. In the afternoon, we saw 2 more humpback whales feeding near each other, joined by at least 7 white-beaked dolphins hunting expressively around the boat before a final fluke dive.

In the afternoon, we found another friendly humpback whale performing fluke dives and gliding near the surface with its white pectoral fins clearly visible in the calm sea.

In the afternoon, we encountered 2 humpback whales - one actively feeding, the other gliding beneath the surface with shining pectoral fins and even a dramatic peduncle throw.
