Weather got even better than during the morning. We came back to the feeding ground and Minkes were there, feeding, mainly with birds like gannets and auks around. 3-4 dolphins were still in the area and we could enjoy them for a while.

This afternoon we moved the boat to Keflavík harbour, as we have done several times before when we have this wind direction. We had shelter from the land so for most of the trip the sea was nice and calm. We spotted several Minke whales throughout the trip in one area where

Again no whales! And again we searched a big, big area, and we went further out, but couldn´t spot any whales. The weather got worse during the day and it was pretty cold on this tour. Well, bad luck today, but as we always say, this is nature, too, even if we don't like it.

We sailed again from Grindavík, and the wind had picked up a little more, but still the sea was pretty calm. We spotted a group of Orca at the beginning of the trip, and after we left them we sailed and sailed but didn't find any more whales, unfortunately. We made a stop at

At the end of the morning tour we left the dolphins rather far out in Faxaflói bay. Therefore we were very surprised to find them again very close to the harbour. They were as funny and curious as in the morning. Once again we always had several white-beaked dolphins with us

The weather was at its best, no wind at all and good visibility as we headed out on the bay. After 30 minutes we saw a big group of Harbour Porpoises, swimming slowly and came close to the boat several times. Then another group and ten minutes later we saw the first of many

Only 15 minutes out we encountered a big group of White beaked Dolphins. They turned out to be quite playful and came very close to the boat. Further out two groups of Harbour Porpoises, one of them extremely tame and curios. After that we sailed for a long time until one of

The rain stopped and the sun came out, the wind calmed down almost completely, very good whale watching conditions. We knew it might be difficult to find the humpback again, but we tried. It wasn't any longer where we left it in the morning. We decided to search farther out

We started the tour from Reykjavík harbour this time. The sea was calm but it seemed like the ocean was empty, even no birds. Then we spotted a little group of Harbour porpoises. This group was very shy and disappeared very quickly. After a while the captain saw a group of W
