The whales were even more difficult in the afternoon. We spotted two minke whales but both dived always a long time between the breathing. We saw three times just the blow the first whale. The second one we could see better. Actually we could smell the minke whales, but they

But at the end of the tour, again rather far out in the bay, we finally spotted a few minke whales feeding. One even loungefed once!!! Like in the morning, there was fo

It got quiet out there in Faxaflói bay. Suddenly there was not as much life as in the morning. The whales were taking a siesta :-)  and we had to spend some time searching for them. At the end of the tour though we had spotted three minke whales and one dolphin.

A windy aftenoon and rainy but we had a good tour. In fact, we could spot a Humpback whale, which stayed withus for at least 20 minutes, always surfacing pretty close and once it even went down for a deep dive showing the fluke out. Fantastic!
