  • NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 22:00

The forecast looked very promising and as we sailed into the bay we started seeing very faint northern lights. We observed them for some time and even though it was nice to see, we decided that it was not the best quality, so we decided to offer our passengers complimentary tickets!

After some time, the sky started to clear and some very briefs sightings of the northern lights were spotted, faint at first but as time passed, the activity increased. We saw the lights even as we sailed back into the harbour. Great tour!

Due to weather, we were only able to sail at 09:00 and 13:00 today. We encountered about 4 minke whales in the morning but despite our best efforts, we were unable to find any wildlife in the afternoon and therefore issued complimentary tickets!

We sail out into the calm night with a small breeze and light movement on the boat. Sadly however, there was no auroral activity and therefore we gave out complimentary tickets so that everyone has the chance to come again another night!

The morning started out quite interesting with a minke whale close to the harbour (and several more sightings throughout the day), a few pods of harbour porpoises and about 20+ white-beaked dolphins in all! We also saw a huge cluster of moon jellyfish!
