It was forecasted to be quite clear, and so it continued during the whole evening. Although the night seemed promising, we had no luck and offered all passengers complimentary tickets for a second try at the lights!
We spotted a sleepy humpback whale soon after leaving the harbour this morning! We then saw 2 more whales, actively feeding. Windy conditions didn't prevent us from sailing out this morning, as we were planning on staying close to shore, sheltering us from the harsh conditions. We quickly saw 4 humpback whales and they put on quite a show (tail lobbing and breaching)! In the afternoon we found the same 4 humpback whales again that were busy feeding!
Not even 10 minutes into the morning tour, we saw 2 humpback whales feeding near the industrial harbour. We then had another 2 humpback whales resting and lunge feeding near a small cove. Again in the afternoon, we sailed for 10 minutes and already found our first humpback whale (of 4 in total). What a lucky tour!

We sailed out spotting some stars in between the gaps of cloud, so we kept out hopes high. Unfortunately, the activity was not in our favour, so we offered complimentary tickets to our passengers for a second try!
It wasn't long until we found a humpback whale resting this morning! We soon found another one feeding and then third humpback whale resting. This afternoon we sailed on two boats and found two humpback whales actively feeding! We then found a 3rd humpback whale and ended with 7 harbour porpoises and a grey seal!

We were very positive about the night, but as Northern lights are a natural phenomenon, they are also very unpredictable. We gave out complimentary tickets so our passengers could come again another time!
Not even 3 minutes after we left the harbour this morning, we spotted 2 humpback whales! We sailed further and found a grey seal and a 3rd humpback whale on the other side of the island! In the afternoon we were literally surrounded by 3 humpback whales! Everybody on board was amazed by the sightings of the day!
