Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 1PM Classic Whale Watching tours. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

Report from Eldey : After a day of of bad weather yesterday we could go on a tour this afternoon. If there was still rests of the swell build by yesterday's wind, the conditions were nice with not a lot of wind and a good visibility. It was clouded but we saw a very low sun producing some beautiful rainbows. We went far out without success and came back looking closer from the land until we finally find a pod of 8-10 white-beaked dolphins. The were milling, staying close to each other with dolphins going in different directions and coming back to the group. There was at least 2 calves in the group, one making a very little jump at some point. We could approach them a few times but they were shirking, always getting in our back and slowly moving away so we tried to stay more at distance. When another boat arrived we head back to Reykjavik happy that we could observe those wonderful cetaceans.
