In the morning, we encountered multiple humpback whales displaying fluke dives and one even lunge feeding. Later, we saw another 4 humpback whales as well as an elusive minke whale. The afternoon featured breaching humpback whales and another close encounter. With the increasing winds, the rest of the tours were cancelled.
We enjoyed perfect sea conditions today and had great sightings. All in all we saw up to 8 very active humpback whales displaying fluke dives, feedings and multiple breachings! We also saw several pods of white-beaked dolphins, in addition to sightings of some minke whales. A great day at sea with spectacular wildlife encounters!
Today, we enjoyed excellent whale watching conditions. We first spotted a minke whale and then encountered pods of white-beaked dolphins and three solitary humpback whales. Later tours saw even more minke whales, and the highlight was the synchronisation of humpback whales and playful dolphins against a stunning sunset backdrop.
Throughout the day, we had remarkable sightings starting with a social group of white-beaked dolphins. We also encountered a minke whale and several humpback whales amids the dolphins, some were feeding and one even breached multiple times as well as showing off its tail and pectoral fins with a generous amount of slaps!
Overall today, we saw multiple species displaying special behaviours. We saw a few humpback whales, some pec slapping and lunge feeding while one even breached for us! We also encountered several minke whales feeding, along with playful pods of white-beaked dolphins. Another successful day in the wonderful Faxaflói bay!
Today, we encountered multiple marine species. We saw pods of white-beaked dolphins feeding and playing, a minke whale lunge feeding, and several humpback whales, with one surfacing close to the boat and another lunge feeding. The day ended with even more white-beaked dolphins, some with babies, actively feeding.
Throughout the day, we were blessed with sunny weather and calm seas. We encountered a humpback whale on many occasions that surfaced close to our boat and even breached ans slapped its pectoral fins. We also had a spectacular show of several pods of up to 50 white-beaked dolphins and at least 2 minke whales in total.
Today we experienced the moody nature of the bay, with some ups and downs. Unfortunately, the morning tours had no sightings, resulting in complimentary tickets. However, in the afternoon and evening tours delighted passengers with close encounters with humpback whales, showcasing fluke dives and lunge feeding near the boat.

We unfortunately had no luck this morning and therefore decided to issue complimentary tickets. Throughout the rest of the day however, we spotted about 3 humpback whales in total and some minke whales (one of which breached 3-4 times in a row), and also a few pods of approximately 4-15 white-beaked dolphins!
Throughout the day, we had exciting sightings in Faxaflói bay. To start, we encountered a humpback whale showing its fluke (in addition to several more later in the day) and multiple minke whales, some of which were more active than others. We also spotted a few playful white-beaked dolphins and some harbour porpoises.
This morning, we saw a couple of minke whales, followed by a humpback whale surface feeding. We also encountered a pod of 3 white-beaked dolphins and a few harbour porpoises. Later, we spotted another couple of humpback whales, about three minke whales and some 5 white-beaked dolphins. Another great day on the water!
In the morning, we spotted four humpback whales, two of which surfaced just meters from our boat. We also encountered a fast-moving minke whale on the same tour. Later, on our afternoon tours found a few humpback whales along with a minke whale. The sun, clear skies, and abundant wildlife made for unforgettable experiences at sea!
Throughout the day, we encountered incredible marine life. We spotted white-beaked dolphins performing flips and spins, and between 6-8 humpback whales lunge-feeding and showing their flukes multiple times. We also saw several minke whales during various tours. The day was filled incredible encounters, leaving us in total awe!
Today, we spotted around 25 white-beaked dolphins near Akranes and later, we saw 5-6 minke whales and 2-3 humpback whales displaying their flukes and white pectoral fins as they were swimming together. The final tour of the day saw a minke whale and a shy humpback whale, but we decided to offer complimentary tickets due to the challenging conditions.
In the morning, we encountered two pods of white-beaked dolphins, with some performing spectacular leaps near our boat. The second tour saw two minke whales close to Reykjavik, and another in a different area. In the afternoon, we spotted a humpback whale and two minke whales. The evening tour had a brief sighting of a harbour porpoise before issuing complimentary tickets.
We saw a variety of wildlife on our tours today. In total, we encountered several pods of up to 20 white-beaked dolphins in a feeding frenzy. We were also joined by a couple of humpback whales that swam close to us and around fishing boats in the area. We also saw a minke whale or two throughout the day. All in all, we had a wonderful time in the bay!
