    All four main species showed up today! Feeding minke whales were seen in the dozens, some even lunge-feeding near the boat, while playful white-beaked dolphins leapt and bow-rode around us. Several encounters with humpback whales, including the beloved mother-calf pair, and a few shy harbour porpoises completed this action-packed day!

Energetic humpback whales breached, pec-slapped, and rolled playfully, and some even bubble-fed, while white-beaked dolphins joined the action and minke whales were seen throughout. We also spotted harbour porpoises and seabirds like puffins, gannets, and terns gracing the sky.

    Today brought calm seas and spectacular encounters with all four of our bay’s regular cetaceans. From breaching and bubble-netting humpback whales to playful pods of white-beaked dolphins, plus dozens of elusive minke whales and sightings of harbour porpoises, the bay was alive with activity. Even seabirds joined the feast, making it a day to remember!

    From sunshine to breaching humpback whales and a playful calf, today was bursting with action! We witnessed bubble-net and lunge feeding in perfect conditions. Over 40 minke whales surfaced throughout the bay, joined by hundreds of birds and spirited white-beaked dolphins. We also glimpsed harbour porpoises. What a phenomenal day!

    From drizzle to a sunny evening, today we saw over 40+ minke whales, playful pods of 50-60+ white-beaked dolphins and even a few shy harbour porpoises. Dozens of humpback whales impressed with close approaches, breaching, spy-hops and surface feeding, including the beloved mother-calf pair. A great day with all four of our most common species!

    Under clear skies and calm seas, we witnessed a spectacular gathering of humpback whales, including playful calves, close encounters and dramatic breaches, tail slaps and bubble-net feeding. Minke whales were seen surfacing all around, with some surprisingly close views. We were joined by over 40 white-beaked dolphins - another great day at sea!

    In wavy seas and shifting skies, we encountered a spectacular feeding frenzy across Faxaflói, with at least 12 humpback whales and 12 minke whales seen close to the boats, many breaching, diving and logging. White-beaked dolphins added excitement in several tours, bow-riding and interacting with whales. An action-packed day with blows, flukes and splashes!

    Most of today's tours were cancelled due to weather, however this sunny afternoon featured low wind but choppy seas, with minke whales appearing throughout and one calm humpback whale hunting near the boat. We were joined by thousands of seabirds, adding energy and excitement to the trip. A lovely adventure at sea despite the swell and weather!
