Very quickly after leaving the harbour, we could see northern lights! To start with we could see lots of purple but throughout the night we had every colour including green, red and pink! At times they even danced - it was an incredible night!
This morning, we had all kinds of weather. We came across a couple of harbour porpoises, but unfortunately no bigger cetacean, so we issued complimentary tickets to all passengers. In the afternoon we found a minke whale and several harbour porpoises! We observed them resurfacing a few times, before heading back home under heavy snowcovered skies.

The skies were slightly cloudy but we could still see the stars shine brightly. About 30 min into the tour, a bit of hail fell upon us but we were soon rewarded for our struggles with the northern lights, which we enjoyed for well over an hour!
We didn't know it yet, but we were in for quite the surprise.. we saw a huge black dorsal fin of a male ORCA - there were 10-12 individuals including males, females and juveniles, all feeding! We also saw 2-3 pods of up to 7 harbour porpoises along the way. In the afternoon we found a pod of 5 white-beaked dolphins that came very close to our boat and check us out!
This morning, the sea welcomed us with calm waters and a light breeze. As we cruised along, we spotted a dorsal fin breaking the surface - it was a minke whale, likely feeding in the waters rich with fish. The skies had cleared up in the afternoon a lot and the winds were pushing our backs. We eventually found a minke whale, surfacing often very close to our boat.

We searched around for a good amount of time this morning, but eventually we were rewarded with a humpback whale! We saw multiple beautiful fluke dives and it even surfaced very close to our boat! In the afternoon, after sailing for nearly an hour, we came across a wonderful spot full of wildlife - a pod of 5 white-beaked dolphins as well as a humpback whale!

We started the night with great anticipation, as the weather forecast seemed promising. Unfortunately, the clouds lingered throughout the evening, and despite our best efforts, no lights were seen, so we made sure to issue complimentary tickets!
We headed out this morning in good weather, with no wind and calm seas. As we sailed along, we found a total of 4 pods of white-beaked dolphins, we could even see some of their little faces very clearly. In the afternoon, in very quick succession, we saw 2 pods of white beaked dolphins consisting of 5 and 6 individuals, actively swimming all around us!

The morning tour saw 2 pods of up to 7 white-beaked dolphins, one with a very young calf as well as a couple of humpback whales! In the afternoon, we again found a humpback whale, but that's not all - we also saw massive dorsal fins breaking the water - it was in fact, a pod of 6 ORCAS! 4 males and 2 females came into the bay today, very close to the city!

This morning, we saw a glimpse of a minke whale, just after passing Grótta. We continued our journey heading towards a few fishing boats, where we saw a humpback whale! Despite our best efforts, the afternoon tour only saw a lone harbour porpoise. So, we handed out complimentary tickets to everyone on board so they can come back and try again!
