Under clear skies and calm seas, we witnessed a spectacular gathering of humpback whales, including playful calves, close encounters and dramatic breaches, tail slaps and bubble-net feeding. Minke whales were seen surfacing all around, with some surprisingly close views. We were joined by over 40 white-beaked dolphins - another great day at sea!
From calm sunshine to rolling seas, today's tours were packed with life! We saw at least 10 humpback whales, with spectacular behaviours like breaching, tail slapping, fluke dives and even bubble-net feeding. Pods of white-beaked dolphins and shy minke whales added to the show - an unforgettable day in Faxaflói Bay, as always!
What an unforgettable day at sea, with 15+ humpback whales, including a mother and her calf seen across all tours - some were feeding, others breaching, rolling, and even bubble netting! We also encountered numerous minke whales, playful pods of white-beaked dolphins, and even a brief harbour porpoise sighting. The bay was brimming with life today!
Today brought calm seas, vibrant skies, and spectacular sightings of 15+ humpback whales including a mother-calf pair, showing off with breaches, tail slaps, and peduncle throws across the bay. We also encountered several minke whales, and playful white-beaked dolphins bow-riding and feeding alongside the whales. Each tour was a delightful spectacle!
Despite rain and mist, today delivered unforgettable encounters with over 15 humpback whales, including mother-calf pairs, breaching individuals, and bubble net feeding. We also spotted numerous minke whales and playful pods of white-beaked dolphins bow-riding and leaping near the boats. Calm seas and constant surface action made this a magical day!
In wavy seas and shifting skies, we encountered a spectacular feeding frenzy across Faxaflói, with at least 12 humpback whales and 12 minke whales seen close to the boats, many breaching, diving and logging. White-beaked dolphins added excitement in several tours, bow-riding and interacting with whales. An action-packed day with blows, flukes and splashes!
Most of today's tours were cancelled due to weather, however this sunny afternoon featured low wind but choppy seas, with minke whales appearing throughout and one calm humpback whale hunting near the boat. We were joined by thousands of seabirds, adding energy and excitement to the trip. A lovely adventure at sea despite the swell and weather!

Today’s calm seas and light rain gave way to unforgettable encounters with breaching and feeding humpback whales, including mother-calf pairs. We also saw minke whales throughout the day, a pod of ORCAS with calves, and energetic white-beaked dolphins joining the frenzy with flocks of Northern gannets, kittiwakes, and Arctic terns circled above us!
Today we encountered 9 humpback whales throughout the day, including a mother-calf pair, feeding pairs, and breaching individuals! We also saw several minke whales, playful white-beaked dolphins in multiple pods, and quick glimpses of harbour porpoises. Seabirds like puffins and kittiwakes added to the vibrant summer atmosphere across all tours.
Today we faced wind and waves but were rewarded with incredible views of over seven humpback whales feeding together, fluke diving, and even breaching! A few shy minke whales appeared too, one even breached, and playful white-beaked dolphins joined the action. Seabirds feasted alongside the whales in a lively, nutrient rich bay under shifting skies.

Curious minke whales circled our boats and one even breached, while white-beaked dolphins darted around flocks of seabirds. Harbour porpoises made brief appearances, rounding out a great day.
