With sunny skies and calm waters, we headed out to sea and soon spotted a pod of white-beaked dolphins and a minke whale soon into the tour. We then noticed a breaching humpback whale in the distance, and spotted several humpback whales around us feeding, and a sighting of harbour porpoises on the way back into the harbour! In the afternoon, we had similar success with minke whales and humpback whales feeding in the same area as earlier, with the humpbacks spy-hopping and other curious behaviours. A fantastic day!
With a little drizzle, we headed out on our morning tour and almost instantly spotted a minke whale by Engey. Soon after, we spotted three different pods of 3 harbour porpoises and further into the bay, around 10 humpback whales and even more minke whales. In the afternoon, we similarly saw a minke whale soon into the tour, and not long after, found at least 10 humpback whales again, in a feeding frenzy. A brilliant day in Faxaflói bay.
We headed out to sea this morning with fantastic conditions. We first encountered harbour porpoises and managed a good look at these usually shy individuals, before finding an area full of birds, with 4 minke whales and 10 humpback whales - fantastic! In the afternoon, we soon spotted 6 white-beaked dolphins travelling near Grótta, and then 10 harbour porpoises. We again headed further out and spotted at least 2 minke whales and at least 10 humpback whales. A brilliant day at sea!

We headed out to sea on our final northern lights cruise of the year, full of hope for the night ahead! We were excited to witness a proposal onboard soon into the tour, many congratulations to the happy couple! It was a lovely calm evening at sea, and we started to see some stars, but unfortunately we had no aurora borealis this time, so we gave our guests complimentary tickets to try another time.

We sailed out with mostly clear skies, hopeful and excited. The sun set in the distance, and the skies cleared more and more. We waited, warming up with blankets but unfortunately, we were unlucky this time so handed out complimentary tickets to our guests to try again another evening!
We left the harbour with fantastic weather and the sun was shining. We soon spotted 2 harbour porpoises and soon after, some larger cetaceans! We witnessed 10 humpback whales and 6 minke whales in a feeding frenzy, a brilliant morning! In the afternoon, we had more great weather and soon spotted 2 pods of 3 harbour porpoises as well as 10 humpback whales! Feding and surfacing all around us - with one even breaching & tail slapping. An amazing day at sea.
We set off on our morning tour with calm seas and spotted our first blows soon into the tour. We counted at least 6 humpback whales and spent some time with them, also spotting 2 minke whales in the same area. In the afternoon, we had some light rain at the start and soon spotted 2 pods of 3 harbour porpoises. We eventually came to the same area as the morning and spotted around 7 humpback whales! A fantastic day at sea with guests and crew very happy.

Tonight we had partially cloudy skies, with fantastic ocean conditions, and we headed out to sea. More and more gaps in the clouds started to appear, and stars shone through them. We waited patiently, warming up with some hot chocolate, but unfortunately we were not lucky this time and gave our passengers complimentary tickets to try again another evening.

We left the harbour with a few clouds in the sky but plenty of gaps, hopeful for the evening. The late sun set and we started our hunt, with the first northern lights already visible through the clouds! After a few minutes, they left again but on our way back to the harbour, a long green arch appeared and we had another good look at them. A great evening at sea!
In the morning, we had some strong wind and swell, so decided to cancel our tour for the safety and comfort of our passengers. In the afternoon, the wind has subsided a little, and we headed out to see what we could find. After some sailing, we spotted our first blow! In total, we had around 8 humpback whales feeding all around us, an excellent sighting and what an afternoon at sea!

We had beautiful weather and clear skies as we headed out to sea. There was a little wind, but otherwise great conditions and we spotted 10 harbour porpoises briefly, but they were quite shy. In the end, we offered to our passengers complimentary tickets to try again on another tour! In the afternoon, we had similarly good weather with a little wind, and again spotted 5 harbour porpoises in a brief sighting, but couldn't find anything larger so gave our passengers complimentary tickets to try again!
A sunny morning, with some swell, and we headed out full of hope for the day! We soon found 2 pods of 3-4 harbour porpoises and got a good look at them, before spotting 2 humpback whales and 1 minke whale further out in the bay - a great morning at sea. In the afternoon, we headed out again with some swell, and soon spotted 2 harbour porpoises and a minke whale. Then, we spotted, a humpback whale! It showed it‘s fluke a few times, a perfect day at sea!

We headed out on a lovely evening and already spotted the northern lights visible above us! A great start to the tour. They became more intense and swirled and veiled with 2 arches above us. A brilliant and beautiful evening at sea.
We set out on a morning tour, with typical Icelandic spring weather - a bit of everything! We soon spotted a minke whale who was very active, surfacing many times. Soon after, 4 white-beaked dolphins appeared, surfing with the swell, and on the way back to the harbour, 3 harbour porpoises were also briefly sighted! In the afternoon, we had similar weather as the morning and soon spotted a minke whale again, very active as before. We stayed for a little while as it surfaced, and then briefly spotted a harbour porpoise again. A great day at sea.
