Several pods of white-beaked dolphins and a quick harbour porpoise sighting added to the mix. Rain or shine, the bay was alive with seabirds and non-stop cetacean activity from morning till night!

Preview textOver 10 minke whales and 6 active humpback whales were seen today, including bubble-net feeding, fluke dives, and multiple spectacular breaches! A playful pod of white-beaked dolphins also made an appearance, and one lucky group even spotted a fast harbour porpoise. Despite the rain, many seabirds added to the energy of a day full of action in the bay!

We were also joined by a few playful white-beaked dolphins, who leapt and bow-rode near feeding whales. This day was a full-on feeding frenzy from start to finish!

Preview textAll tours today were bursting with activity as we encountered up to 11 humpback whales across the bay with incredible surface feeding, pectoral slaps, fluke dives and even breaches! Pods of white-beaked dolphins joined in on the feast, and plenty of minke whales and even a few rare fin whales were spotted, making for a truly spectacular day out at sea.

Even shy harbour porpoises joined the mix for a magical day, rich with wildlife and life-giving krill!
