  • NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 22:00

Clear skies and the stars were shimmering; we set out for our evening cruise. Before long, an arch appeared and the northern lights dazzled above us. They did not stop throughout the evening, with explosions of purple and green at points. A special evening on the bay.

It was a chilly morning as we set off for our 09:00 tour, and before long, spotted a blow - a humpback whale! We also spotted multiple pods of white-beaked dolphins nearby, around 25 individuals in total! On our afternoon tour, we sailed out again with a little less wind and found a humpback whale again. After a bit more searching, we also found around 30 white-beaked dolphins! A fantastic day at sea.

We headed out with some wind and swell, and ventured into Hvalfjörður to see what we could find. We soon spotted 10 white-beaked dolphins speeding around and chasing fish, a great sighting! On the way home, we also spotted 5 harbour porpoises closer to Reykjavik. The wind had picked up even more in the afternoon, so we decided to cancel our 13:00 tour for the safety and comfort of our passengers.

  • NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 22:00

We sailed out with a northerly wind, which helped to blow the clouds away for a clear sky. As we headed towards Mount Esja for some cover, a faint arch appeared in the sky. It was the northern lights! Dazzling in the sky among the stars, 4 arches formed, with one arch dancing strong the rest. A perfect evening at sea

It felt like a summer day today with blue skies as we headed out for a morning tour. We first spotted a minke whale, the second time we have spotted one in 2026. We spent some time admiring this minke before spotting 7 harbour porpoises. In the afternoon, we again headed out and had very brief sightings of a minke whale and 5 harbour porpoises but since the sightings were very short, we gave our guests complimentary tickets to try their luck again.

We headed out to sea with some hot chocolate in our hands, hopeful for the night ahead. We admired the lights of the city shimmering in the water, and cruised around the islands waiting to see what would happen. Unfortunately, we were unlucky this night so we gave our passengers complimentary tickets to try again with us on another night.

We sailed out on our morning tour with the sun shining. We soon spotted a pod of 5 white-beaked dolphins resurfacing frequently under some birds. We soon continued our sail and spotted a humpback whale! A great morning at sea. In the afternoon, the seas had got rough so we decided to cancel our 13:00 tour for the safety and comfort of our passengers.
