Most of today's tours were cancelled due to weather, however this sunny afternoon featured low wind but choppy seas, with minke whales appearing throughout and one calm humpback whale hunting near the boat. We were joined by thousands of seabirds, adding energy and excitement to the trip. A lovely adventure at sea despite the swell and weather!

Under calm seas and shifting skies, we spotted over 20 humpback whales (including a playful calf), 15+ minke whales, several harbour porpoises and a pod of white-beaked dolphins. The day featured breaching, spy hopping, fluke dives and pectoral slaps, with whales feeding alone and in groups. Stunning visibility and lively bird activity made this a day to remember!

On this sunny day, we encountered all four main species, with at least 10 humpback whales (including a mother-calf pair), 20+ minke whales, playful white-beaked dolphins and elusive harbour porpoises. The day was filled with breaching, fluke dives, pectoral slaps, spy-hopping and rare close encounters, especially with the calf’s curious behaviour.

The bay buzzed with arctic terns, gannets and puffins, completing a perfect summer day here in Faxaflói!

Today’s calm seas and light rain gave way to unforgettable encounters with breaching and feeding humpback whales, including mother-calf pairs. We also saw minke whales throughout the day, a pod of ORCAS with calves, and energetic white-beaked dolphins joining the frenzy with flocks of Northern gannets, kittiwakes, and Arctic terns circled above us!

We also saw several minke whales, playful white-beaked dolphins in multiple pods, and quick glimpses of harbour porpoises. Seabirds like puffins and kittiwakes added to the vibrant summer atmosphere across all tours.

Today we faced wind and waves but were rewarded with incredible views of over seven humpback whales feeding together, fluke diving, and even breaching! A few shy minke whales appeared too, one even breached, and playful white-beaked dolphins joined the action. Seabirds feasted alongside the whales in a lively, nutrient rich bay under shifting skies.

From morning mist to midnight sun, we encountered over a dozen humpback whales breaching, tail-slapping, and bubble-net feeding. Swift minke whales, elusive harbour porpoises, and pods of playful white-beaked dolphins added to the action. Calm seas teemed with seabirds such as puffins, guillemots, and arctic terns diving into bait balls.
