Perfect seas delivered an unforgettable day with countless humpback whales pec-slapping, bubble-net feeding and even breaching right beside the boat! We also encountered multiple minke whales and playful white-beaked dolphins leaping, bowriding, and joining the feeding frenzy. One magical sighting after another made for an epic day on the bay!

Despite the drizzle, the bay came alive with playful humpback whales (one of which was Davy Jones) breaching, lunge feeding, and peduncle throwing from morning till night. We also spotted several sneaky minke whales and energetic white-beaked dolphins leaping around whales. An unforgettable day at sea filled with close encounters!

This morning started with fluke dives from curious humpback whales and a close encounter with Davy Jones! The bay stayed busy all day with more humpbacks breaching, bubble-net feeding, and surrounding our boats. We also saw acrobatic white-beaked dolphins, quick minke whales, and shy harbour porpoises on this action-packed day!

Calm seas and rich feeding grounds brought over a dozen humpback whales into view, with bubble-net feeding, fluke dives, breaches, and pec slaps galore! Playful white-beaked dolphins appeared on nearly every tour, often in large pods, and some even jumped beside the boat. We also spotted several minke whales and elusive harbour porpoises!

Today featured at least 12 active humpback whales across the bay, with fluke dives, pec slaps, spyhops and even lunge feeding! Several pods of playful white-beaked dolphins swam around the boats, some even escorting us home. Add to that a handful of minke whales and harbour porpoises and we had a truly unforgettable summer day at sea!

What a whale-filled day with over a dozen humpback whales sighted across all tours - breaching, pec-slapping, tail-lobbing and even synchronized fluke dives! Add to that several pods of white-beaked dolphins (with calves), shy harbour porpoises, and a few elusive minke whales, and you’ve got a full Faxaflói showcase. Even the rain couldn’t stop us!

Curious minke whales, fast-moving harbour porpoises, and playful pods of white-beaked dolphins (some with calves) delighted us throughout. Calm seas and countless encounters made it a day to remember!
