We started the night with great anticipation, as the weather forecast seemed promising. Unfortunately, the clouds lingered throughout the evening, and despite our best efforts, no lights were seen, so we made sure to issue complimentary tickets!

We headed out this morning in good weather, with no wind and calm seas. As we sailed along, we found a total of 4 pods of white-beaked dolphins, we could even see some of their little faces very clearly. In the afternoon, in very quick succession, we saw 2 pods of white beaked dolphins consisting of 5 and 6 individuals, actively swimming all around us!

The morning tour saw 2 pods of up to 7 white-beaked dolphins, one with a very young calf as well as a couple of humpback whales! In the afternoon, we again found a humpback whale, but that's not all - we also saw massive dorsal fins breaking the water - it was in fact, a pod of 6 ORCAS! 4 males and 2 females came into the bay today, very close to the city!

This morning, we saw a glimpse of a minke whale, just after passing Grótta. We continued our journey heading towards a few fishing boats, where we saw a humpback whale! Despite our best efforts, the afternoon tour only saw a lone harbour porpoise. So, we handed out complimentary tickets to everyone on board so they can come back and try again!

We set out into calm, foggy sea this morning. After a while, we saw a pod of about 10 white-beaked dolphins swimming calmly. We also spotted a whale, but it was difficult to determine the species from where we were - possibly a rare SEI whale?! In the afternoon we saw a pod of 6 white-beaked dolphins, and another one consisting of 5-7 individuals, with calves!

We sailed out with a fairly strong wind and a strong swell this morning. Unfortunately no cetaceans were found, so we issued complimentary tickets to all passengers. In the afternoon, the sun was shining and it was feeling warm. After a while we found a humpback whale - and suddenly two pods of 7 and 16 white-beaked dolphins came up all around us!

The night seemed promising as we could see some gaps between the clouds and had a glimpse of the stars behind them. After an hour and a half, we started to notice hints of green behind the clouds, and as our excitement grew, so did the northern lights!
